Our Monthly Memory Verse:
Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders; make the most of every opportunity. Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone. — Colossians 4:5-6 (NIV)

Get Their Name Series

Published October 13, 2017 by Tiffany Mayhew in Uncategorized

Have you ever wondered how to effectively invite your friends, relatives, or co-workers to become a part of our faith community? Have you felt ill-equipped to share your faith? Do you cringe at the word “evangelism?” If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, you won’t want to miss our upcoming worship series, “Get Their Name.”
This series will calm your fears and provide you with practical tips and techniques to comfortably and effectively reach new people for Christ. We will cover how to capture your own faith story and share it, how to be relational out in the world, and how to prepare our church to receive guests.

October 8 – Do You Know Your Own Story?
October 15 – The Person Behind the Need
October 22 – Being an Everyday Christian
October 29 – Are You Prepared?

Each family will receive the book “Get Their Name: Grow Your Church by Building New Relationships.” There will also be opportunities to study the key principles in small groups and discover ways to turn those principles into Spirit-led action beginning:
Wednesday, October 11, 7 PM in Room 109, Adult Bible Study
Sunday, October 15, 10:30 AM Room 110, Fellowship Class
Monday, October 30, (All Saints Eve eve) 7 PM in Room 110, Kindred Spirits (Ladies Bible Study)
Sunday, November 5, 10:30 AM in Room 17, Truth Seekers Class
Join us in worship and study as we explore a genuine, authentic way of drawing people to Christ by building new relationships.
