Our Monthly Memory Verse:
Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders; make the most of every opportunity. Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone. — Colossians 4:5-6 (NIV)

NEEDED:  Candy for Easter Egg Hunt—March 24 will be Good Shepherd’s community Easter egg hunt. Last year 2000 eggs were hidden-and found–and we could have used more. This year we want to be better prepared. We have “helpers” to fill the eggs and hide them at the appropriate time. If  you would like to help with this event, please bring bags of individually wrapped candies and/or fillable plastic eggs, and place them in the designated basket in the narthex.

This Lent we will quiet things down and heighten our attention to the “still, small voice” of God and our own true self through prayer as well as meditation on holy texts. Come and rest, […]

It is exciting to consider where they might go this year. There are three opportunities to support this ministry: PRAYER – Please pray for the success of this mission throughout the world, that the child recipients may come to know Jesus’ love for them. PARTICIPATION – It is fun to shop for small toys, school supplies, and hygiene items (NO CANDY or TOOTHPASTE) that will fill a box and bring joy to a child! Empty boxes […]
